Best gaming computer for 700-1000 dollars?

Thread Starter
Hello,
New consoles are coming out and im wondering if my money would be better spent towards a computer. How ever I worried that I wont get great frames for the amount I am willing to pay. If you think I am wrong and have a possible build idea please let me know also it would be appreciated if you could give me an estimate on the frames I would receive on a game like battlefield and minecraft thanks.

Will this need to include the monitor, keyboard and mouse? Or, what won't you need to buy?

Just for the record, the only thing I might be able to help with is selecting the power supply. I've been out of the loop for everything else for too long.

It's a computer!

Just a suggestion correct me if i'm wrong..

Intel Core i5-4670K CPU
Cooler Master Hyper 212 EVO CPU Cooler
if air cooling
Phanteks PH-TC14PE or Noctua D14
Sapphire Radeon HD 7950 Graphics Card
If Water cooler CORSAIR Vengeance 8GB 240-Pin DDR3 SDRAM DDR3 1600 (PC3 12800) Desktop Memory Model CMZ8GX3M1A1600C10B
If air cooler CORSAIR Vengeance LP 8GB 240-Pin DDR3 SDRAM DDR3 1600 Desktop Memory Model CML8GX3M1A1600C10 due to the heatsink so big! only low profile will fit
120GB Samsung 840 EVO SSD
1TB Western Digital Caviar Black Hard Drive
600W Corsair CX600 PSU
Corsair 200R Case if water cooler.. if air cooler you have to find different case that will fits the heatsink.
MSI Z87-G43 Motherboard

this will around 1000 bucks depend where you buy too..

You dont need 600 watts for a system like that

And the Corsair CX is cheap for a reason its not very well made

There is a reason why it was removed from the OCN PSU list
