Actually I don't change my stance unless proven wrong. Your mistaking my objectiveness as side swapping. Only reason I am saying i3 is winning is because of those in the haswell i3 release thread that say that "i3 gets demolished by a fx-6300 in most modern games". Obviously that is incorrect because the last six games or so that have come out show the i3 being significantly better, than what others would have you believe.
I do believe the 6300 is a perfectly capable CPU as I have stated multiple times. I believe Intel is the better path as AMD has let mainstream down for far to long IMO. Im not really bias as I own multiples of both sides. Check my sig for a link to AMDs first APUs I did a review on and praised.
No biased here, I just call it for what it is.

If that's true, than an fx-6300 is going to narrowly beat an ivy bridge i3
in Arma performance according to these benchmarks. You can't forget the difference between overclocked & stock. FX-6300 proponents are not wrong about it vs an i3, IF you overclock.
Could not agree more. With two exceptions.
1. People claim it will destroy an i3.....which is an exaggeratory statement. Will win some and lose some im sure....hardly destroying wich is what some claim (not you)
2. FX-6300 platform has no upgrade path as you know they perform the same on 99% of games in comparison to the 8350. That's why I say i3 is valid because its upgrade path can be to a 4.5GHz i7, which is one heck of an upgrade. See my point?Edited by Dimaggio1103 - 9/16/13 at 2:56pm
