Suggest me a power supply.

Hey guys, I'm planning on grabbing a new power supply in a few months and I'm trying to plan ahead.

I will be ordering from Newegg and there are only a few requirements:

-Needs to be 140mm in length, fits better in my case.
-Needs be fully modular (I plan on making custom cables)
-Needs to power the latest and greatest single gpu card. I'm going to run the system in my signature for a while, but I hope to upgrade to a GTX 880 or 980 when they come out. I know its impossible to judge right now, I just want to plan a bit for the future, which is something I have not done very well in the past.

Any ways, what do you think of either of these units?

Silverstone Strider 600w

Silverstone ST55F-G 550w

Silverstone just happens to have units like these, I don't really care what brand it is as long as it gets the TwoCables/shilka stamp of approval.

SilverStone Strider Gold 550 watts is 140mm

That is the only unit that comes to mind as small and good

Only thing i dont like is 50mv ripple on the 3,3 rail

Thats the rail for your RAM so if you buy this i would not do any RAM overclocking

That one will be the one then. Appreciate it.

One more question. I have a set of Bitfinex sleeved extensions. Would there be any problems with me replacing the female end of the extension with a male end and connecting it right up to the power supply? Like just use the extension as the main cable.

They are nice and short and sleeved already, and replacing the ends would be really quick.

edit:

These, I have a bunch of them, but the mains ones would be the 24 pin and 8 pin.:
