If the new card is 20% faster than the 7970, it's going to be about 10% slower than the 780.

you seriously believe AMD is going to release a card which is 20% faster than HD 7970(925 mhz) . so 10% faster than HD 7970 Ghz. AMD would rather release a new HD 7970 bin with 1.2 Ghz and call it a day. 25 - 30% faster than HD 7970 Ghz is the least AMD will be providing. you can mark this post and check when the launch reviews are out.

Almost everyone who was in a uproar about the ultra enthusiast **** was rocking either a 4-5xx series Nvidia card or a 6xxx and low 7xxx card.

Get real people, those dual chip hardly sell.
