Nexus One was best Nexus :3

It had it all \o/

The new Nexus are nice, but they've lost a bit of their identity, I feel. Plus with Google making decisions like "SD cards are difficult for people to understand" it makes me want to scoff at Google bit. Why would you put limits on a "dev" phone as the Nexus used to be referred to as? Are Nexus no longer the cutting edge of Android, rather to be relegated to a flashy 'new' phone?

Really, I'm disappointed.

So want one, but these Nexus devices ignore expandable memory. mad.gif

My Nexus 4 currently does everything I need... Must resist Nexus 5 drool.gif

The lack of expandable memory is a bit of a downer, I must admit. Google should make these phones outright (as they do now) or on contract with a micro SD expansion. That way they will get a leash on the customers who only choose a phone from their contract.
