[Hardware.Info] Lian Li PC-D600

Thread Starter
Lian Li has introduced a new enclosure, the PC-D600. The case has rather unusual dimensions, offering plenty of options for watercooling and modding enthusiasts alike. At 38.2 centimetres, the PC-D600 is twice as wide as a regular chassis. Its depth and height of respectively 41.5 and 52.5 centimetres are more along the lines of conventional enclosures. Instead of having the drive bays in front of the motherboard, they're located beside it. As a result, the case has ten 5.25" bays, of which six can be converted into 3.5". On the bottom of the case, additional room for 2.5" SSDs is present, while a 420 x 140 mm radiator can be installed on the back. Alternatively, three 140 mm fans can be added to the back panel.

The compartment which houses the E-ATX motherboard and power supply is fitted with three 140 mm fans on the front. These can optionally be substituted by a 420 x 140 mm radiator as well. On the back, a 120 mm outtake fan can be found. Between the two compartments, various holes have been drilled for cable management.

Lian Li's PC-D600 will be available soon, but prices haven't yet been revealed.

i saw an article that was later deleted with a 250 pound price tag on it, but since the article was deleted i'm not sure if i would trust it

i don't think it would be more expensive than the d8000, and seeing how the d8000 launched at 265gbp and 350usd it might be closer to 330usd to 300usd

edit:
seems like the article was reposted http://www.vortez.net/news_story/lian_li_release_double_wide_pc_d600_full_tower_chassis.html

If this is under $300, I'll buy day one. Hopefully they'll have the silver version out at the same time.

Got tired of waiting, and since it didn't sound like this was coming out any time soon, I just bought a used Caselabs M8 in great condition.

Great decision and I may do the same, but the interwebs are saying next week.

Both look great. I like the filters of the D600, but I like that the M8 is roomier and more customizable.
