Hey guys, the time has come and need to get a new tv, im wondering about these two, which would you suggest? Samsung UE40F6400 vs Phillips 42/32PFL5008K? Im also hovering if 32" is enough for 1 Room small apartment or i need to go bigger? If i go 40/42" the quality is gona be significantly lower if im using cable tv from close range? Feel free to give any suggestion in similar price range, i would like to have smart 3d, wifi, thanks.

The Samsung UE40F6400 takes my pick.

The F6400 is basically a cheaper variant of the new F8000. Overall, the differences in PQ is not big however the only disadvantage is in darker environments where the F8000 takes the lead.

It's most likely the best LCD LED TV in your price range.

Love the sleek design on it too.

The Philips 42/32PFL5008K is a no-name and doesn't even have any trustworthy reviews. I wouldn't touch it.

I purchased UE46F6400 two weeks ago and couldn't be happier with it just watched the hobbit on 3d blu ray and i thought it was a better experience than seeing it in the cinema when talking about the 3d.

SD performance is pretty good depends on when the show was made.

HD is stunning the pre set settings are ok but spent some time calibrating it and couldn't be happier.
