Should I give Windows 8 a chance? - Page 2

I don't know what went wrong. I get a disc error everytime I try and burn it. I had a copy of Win7 Pro X64 that I just installed. Might just do the "upgrade" to Win 8 if I can get it burn right.

Do a USB install if possible for you - I just copied the files from the ISO to a USB thumb drive and booted from it smile.gif

Yeah USB install is the way to go.

I don't even have an optical drive in my PC anymore.

Same, haven't had one for 2 years.

I personally enjoy win 8 been using it since the consumer preview last year. I use quite a bit of the metro apps, 8.1 from the preview seemed nice, but it kept making my LoL client crash frown.gif.
