I have tried 4 120 Hz panels. Coming from my 6 yr old 20" IPS, all 4 led to a MUCH HIGHER k/d ratio in BF3. By the time they saw me, I had half a clip into them.
Its not just the faster refresh, but you're own ability to track MUCH more accurately with your eyes on a display with low motion blur/input lag/response time.
60 FPS in BF3 is simply too slow IMO. You just can't respond fast enough compared to 120 MINIMUM. Ill take lowest details and 160 avg/120 min over highest details and 60 avg/30 min all day long.
You are not using a mouse to move your point if view so 24 is fine.
The analog stick is no mouse, so 30 is fine.
Bottomline: Since gaming on these monitors (and sending them all back due to PWM flicker), I have flatout refused to play BF3. It is not enjoyable.
