kithylin, I'am referring to GA-EP45T-xxxx (DDR3) mobos only. wink.gif

And as for your thought about RAM, that isn't necessarily true anymore. Many 1333-1600Mhz RAM sticks are just underclocked versions of 1600-1866Mhz models, it all depends on your luck what'll be the OEM of the chips on your sticks. But nevertheless, CPU and RAM should be attempted to overclock separately, not all at once.

I know you are. I also know other folks in here have P45-based DDR2 motherboards, so my suggestions are more for them. I went and edited my other post and took the quote part out.. I didn't intend that to be directed as a reply to you, it was just more in general for others.

Nice! And it looks like a pair of 280's too? Any chance I could get you to run a vantage performance benchmark with that chip? I've been considering putting a used 295 in my 775 system sometime soon.

Is that with TWO gtx 280's ? I got 15.5k recently with a single 8800gtx with my 771 quad (before the video card melted on me randomly)

That's with everything stock... if I'm reading the review correctly, I'm kinda on par. My QX6700 got me only 13K

EDIT:

Similar setup.

It's looking like I need Three to really get some juice going.

16,276 This is the best stock score I'm going to get...

Alrighty thanks anyway. I've never looked in to some results with a quad core and the top-end of the 200 series so I was just really curious how they worked and performed. Maybe not as high as I would of expected :/

Hi. If i may some questions.

I have an XFX 680i SLI with P33 bios.

Should the E5450 be a the best bet?

And all i have to do is buy those adapters, cut the plastic points from the scoket and ..that's it?

Thank you.
