Will a fiio e10 power external speakers well?

Ever since moving to ITX, the only thing I miss is having a sound card. I run Klipsch Promedia 2.1 speakers, and I was running a Xonar DX on my rig before switching. I was thinking about a DAC, but I'm wondering how the E10 will do with these speakers. I will be using headphones, as well, but I'd like my speakers to get a bit more juice. Is the E10 a good option? If not, can anyone recommend something?

Sure, but "power" is probably a misleading way to put it as that's a powered speaker set. It's powered by its own internal amplifier. It just needs a line-level input from any DAC.

Considering you're also using headphones, if you're willing to spend that much, E10 should be okay.

Sorry. Will the sound quality be better through the E10 than my onboard sound over speakers?
