Bought a new copy of OEM Windows 7...

I was using a fake copy before but I just went and bought a Samsung 840 Pro and decided to clone the OS to it...it failed and now o don't have an OS and can only boot to the BIOS.

Can I reinstall the OS that I bought to the SSD now or do I have to completely wipe it before I can put a new OS on it?

I forgot to mention that I have an 840 Pro as well as a WD Caviar Blue.

When you do a clean install, you need to format the drive. Do not install windows on top of windows. tongue.gif

Just run the installation disk, it will do it before installing. You don't need another system. I don't think you can format on the bios, but I'm not sure.
