I'm typing with this laptop right now, and it works perfectly fine as long as the screen is open at less than 90º. If I try to tilt it back more, it gets weird lines in it and makes black areas look green like they're from the 80's. I believe this is because of a fault in the cable that goes through the hinge, and I don't think that replacement screens come with the cable. I'm guessing this from just looking the one picture that Amazon has.

I would really like to order just a $10 inverter cable and fix everything. I've already taken apart the laptop to upgrade the CPU and to clean the heatsinks, so I recall it's pretty easy to get to it. Is this what I should get? Please let me know so I can throw money at something soon and fix my screen.
