BenQ xl2420t and xbox 360 problem

Hey peeps,

For quite some time I got this problem when I hook up my Xbox on the BenQ xl2420t monitor, the picture quality is really bad it looks so much better on my TV but I prefer to sit behind my desk as I feel more in to the game and also because I have a hard time seeing the minimap in GTA 5 on the TV due to the distance.
I connected the Xbox with the monitor with a HDMI to HDMI cable, I got the Xbox settings to 1920x1080p, when I do this, the Xbox says it's running at 50hz. Not sure if that's the problem.
I tried changing settings on the monitor itself and it doesn't help any. It feels like I'm playing on a really low resolution.

I'm considering to buy a HDMI to DVI cable to see if this fixes it, but I'm not entirely sure if this would help. Anyone here that could help me please?

I'd suggest trying a different HDMi cable. If all else fails though. I've used my DVI to HDMI cable with my XBOX and it works just fine.
I've never experience your problem, but I have a very similar monitor. the RL2450HT.

Make sure it is set to 60hz first though. You have a 3D 120hz monitor and it might be screwing up because of that. If all else fails, I'll trade ya. wink.gif
