I've been trying everything - for the past month I've had a 1055T running 3.5Ghz rock solid stable. Temps never breached 40C, stock voltage, RAM running at rated speed (1333Mhz) and happy.
Today I suddenly got a BSOD. I get them occasionally, rebooted. It hung at "windows starting" a few more tries and I either hung/bsod.
First port of call was startup repair, it ran but didn't work so I underclocked my CPU. Still nothing, completely reset my BIOS.
Literally nothing has worked, I've unplugged anything not essential to startup, reseated RAM multiple times, underclocked everything/some things. Twice I've gotten to the password stage, both were flukes and a BSOD straight after.
And now the complicated part:
About a month ago I upgraded my C:\ drive to an 840 EVO. Also my power supply failed and I got a new one - a very cheap coolermaster 500W one. I also (if it wasn't bad enough) found my RAM was causing issues, replaced it and everything was working fine. BUT the RAM I replaced was run through hours of memtest on a different system and had no problems.
I'm at a complete loss. Everything was fine for the past few weeks. Any ideas?
