I'm 16% completed with the game and I gotta say the graphics are driving me nuts. It's impressive considering the hardware running it, but still. 0x AA, 0x AF and 720p just looks so bad.

GTA V on consoles without the level of anti aliasing obliviously, looks the same as my GTA 4 on pc.
Missing out so much, have fun waiting 6 months or whatever it is, this game is absolutely incredible.
The difference is night and day. GTA V on consoles looks no where near as good as GTA IV on PC. There's no AF for one, making every texture that's over 2 feet from the character, and at an angle, look very blurry.
So far it's a great game but the graphics are downright awful compared to pretty much any PC game. Not to mention it seems to average about 24-30FPS....
Eek. That sounds terrible. Well I picked up a copy yesterday for PS3 and will probably start playing this weekend. Hope the bluriness isn't too jarring. When it comes out on PC though, I will definitely pick that up. The only reason I really got it on PS3 was that some buddies wanted to play Online when it releases, otherwise I would have waited for PC.

From what I can see the PS3 actually has a low amount of AF applied, while the 360 version does not. However the 360 version looks better in other areas. You really can't win with either copy though, if you are use to PC graphics.

It hasn't been released for a long time and I'm already looking at PS3s on craigslist. Must...resist...urge...PC...MASTER....RACE.
Seriously though, the game looks like its really fun and has a lot to offer for a mere $60. I like that its both a single player game and almost an MMO to some extent. Rock star really outdid themselves. It goes to prove that hard work in the videogame industry pays off. Big companies need to look at this as an example instead of cutting corners and not giving the consumers what they want.
Great, leave me hanging R* while console tards enjoy the game, and you release it half a year later for PC. So it doesn't jeopardize on your first major sales, because we all know, big portion of those console peasants would torrent the crap out of it if they knew there's a GTA5 version out there that you can download for FREE!
Then after the whole sale storm passes, we get our scraps ,because by then they don't care about who and how many torrent the game.
The lack of AA hurts my brain and destroys a lot of immersion. There is also some minor texture pop/draw distance stuff but it isn't that bad for 7-8 year old hardware. I will gladly repurchase on PC with modern graphics settings to allow me to truly enjoy the experience.
Have Rockstar officially announced it for either yet?
