Which would you get?

I am currently looking at the following keyboards

Logitech G19 $90
Logitech G710+ $95

I can't decide which one I want. If you have other suggestions I will hear them out. No Razer products though, I have terrible terrible luck with them.

I have the Logitech G510, which is similar to the two you listed, and it looks to be only $70 on newegg. LINK Edit: Didn't see it was refurbished. Everywhere else is about $100+. sadsmiley.gif

Okay first do not get the G710+. They keyboard has an issue where the LEDs fail really often. I have had 2 RMAs done due to various LED failures and every one has failed within a week.

The 710+ and the G510 are solid keyboards but my experience with the LCD boards is they are very gimmicky.

If you need macro keys for a membrane board I would get the Steelseries Apex RAW. Aft first the keys with their short, soft travel feels squishy but after a few days it is actually got a nice feel to it. If you want mechanical with macro keys I like the Meka G Unit.

If you do not want a macro keys then there are a number of great mechanical keyboards from Coolermaster and Rosewill. For the best looking to Ducky or Deck.

I actually use the LCD and I cannot go without the programmable keys. No I dont have enough for the Corsair K95 (I wish lol).

*EDIT* PS: Mopar or Nocar biggrin.gifthumb.gif

why would you choose those 2 keyboards just out of curiosity?

I've bought my G710+ on release day and all my LEDs are still working just fine. Have kept them on 24/7 unless system powers down. Very sturdy keyboard, well built. Brown keys with O-rings that make them very quite compared to other mechanical keyboards. Never had a volume bar nor USB port on a keyboard before and now that I have it's going to be hard to go to another keyboard that doesn't have either.

I am getting ready by new year to upgrade my second rig with the G710+ and thinking of Ducky Shine III. The thought of not having a volume bar that's easy to use without having to depress two keys is a bummer.

At a $95 price tag, that's a very good deal. smile.gif

Well I went with the G19 because I feel I can make really good use of the screen for monitoring my system and plus I tried the G710+ in a store and didnt really care for the lack of feedback. My membrane G510 has more then the 710+. Granted it was the test model that everyone smashes on but still.
