Overpriced is nto a problem. ATT's 6MBPS/.50MBPS costed me 51 dollars a month. Xfinity should only be 63 dollars for 25 MB. Not bad!

I had comcast for a number of years (before they called themselves Xfinity) and for the most part the connection was ok. Always have a handful of outtages that they never claim as an issue on their end..

When i bought my house late last year Comcast was the ONLY acceptable option as I work from home and Centurylink only offers 12mb x 768k in this area. Opted to pay a little more and go with Comcast business class, hoping for faster speeds and better customer service. Well, I got faster speeds than they offer their Xfinity customers, but sadly the customer service is just as sub par the handful of times i've had to call with an issue. I've also got an issue that they won't acknowledge as an issue on their end. My connection suffers a pretty constant packet loss. First 3 months it wasn't an issue, now some days it's so bad i can't play a game online, and my work vpn connection will time out. I've got a list of about 20 outtages since i started service with them last October. Most of the outtages don't last more than 5 min, but there have been a couple that were several hours. If i had some other option at anywhere near the same speeds i would jump ship in a heartbeat. Hopefully you won't have the same issues.

For the first 6 months, then it will jump to $90-100.

You should get Comcast Business class - way better customer service. Price is locked in for 1 to 3 years depending on length of contract
