Graphics Card Runs but no Signal Shows

Hello,

After changing my motherboard and turning on the PC for the first time there was no signal, then after changing the graphics card with the other crossfired 7970 the signal on the screen appeared and everything seemed to work perfectly.

Now with the first card that don't show a signal on the display i noticed that i can hear clearly the sound of windows 7 login screen with it logging in normally but without a signal on the display. i don't understand what happened to it as the card was running without any issues before i changed the motherboard, the card is on water or it was after returning it's stock cooler back on at this moment. is there anything i can do to repair it or something? or the card is pretty much done at this point.

Any input would be greatly appreciated!

why not just switch the cards around if the second card shows signal then use that card as primary and other as secondary?

As far as drivers issues goes they seem to be fine but i'll try to reinstall windows when i get the time, just to be safe from software and drivers related issues.

after you run with crossfire gpu, have you checked that the other one if it is detected with GPU-z? I had this eexperience but that was because i flashed vbios ^_^. it turns out the vbios was not compatible.... if its not detected with GPU -z and its new one, then it is faulty card. possibly..... but if you played around your vbios recently, try reflashing. that could work
