Oh well,i understand. Thank you ! That means that my motherboard is next on my upgrade list.

Thanks guys!

Upgrading the motherboard is not worth it, you'd just be throwing the money away for the most part. Save until you can get a new CPU with a new motherboard, instead being stuck with the core 2.

Even though I have a Q8200, Core 2 processors are fairly outdated.

i have also same GA-G41MT-S2 BM and but Processor is C2Q Q9300, any suggestion socket 775 mother board so i can over clock it, i cannot afford to upgrade my processor to i3, i5, i7, i will stick to C2Q Q9300 if the problem is the motherboard only. Need it to overclock to 2.8GHz to 3.4GHz if possible.

PC spec
Motherboard: Gigabyte GA-G41MT-S2 rev.15
-Bios Version: F7
-Bios date: 08/03/2011
Processor: Intel Core 2 Quad Q9300 2.5GHz
1st cooler: http://i304.photobucket.com/albums/nn161/medgard789/IMG_1603_zpsffecc8d7.jpg
2ndary Cooler: http://www.endpcnoise.com/cgi-bin/e/cnps7000c-alcu.html
Memory: dolgix 2GB DDR3 1333MHz (my be upgrading to 4GB DDR3 1333MHz)
HDD: "dont mind it" 80GB
