No it wouldn't. It doesn't matter what apps are open in iOS, if it isn't the active app then it's not actually running. You'd have to open several apps which actually run background functionality and then you'd see it negatively effect benchmarks (or so I assume.) Doesn't mean you'd notice it in general use though.
