How much power comes from the GPU vs advertised card TDP?

When a graphics card has a rated TDP of 250W, how much of that is coming from the GPU itself? There are memory chips that use power, along with other components on the entire PCB. I would assume the GPU itself uses the majority of the power (maybe 80%) but are there any exact numbers? I'm very curious of the power density of the high powered GPUs versus Intel's 22nm CPUs (they claimed to power density issues at ~125W per die area which we found to be a lie used to cover up the use of poor TIM).

You can edit the title by clicking "Edit Thread" just underneath the title, to the right of the options underneath the title (it will probably be under the word "itself").

 

I don't know the answer to your question though.
