You will not notice a speed difference using the SATA II ports with the blues...

Well this is really good to hear. I do have additional drives so let me ask you this, can I connect a old hdd and the dvd/cd to the 2 asmedia ports because all of the other ports will be used. I am choosing the 2 things where speed is not an issue because of the slower port.
