What to buy...

Thread Starter
So right now, there are 2 sets of things I could buy, but there is an issue. I could either buy a PSU and a Sound card, or I could buy a new mobo, CPU, and RAM. The problem is, to pay for the mobo, cpu and ram, I would need to sell my current mobo cpu and ram. I have the cash for the PSU and sound card now. So, should I buy the PSU and sound card now, and just save up for the rest, or be without a rig for the next couple weeks and get the new mobo cpu and ram?

Thanks,
pow3rtr1p

What speaker's do you have mate? If you don't have some quality speakers >$200 then i'd say, live with the onboard sound and the PSU is fine.

As for the cpu/mobo/ram, what would you be upgrading to? I'd tend to suggest that you just save your money until you can upgrade and then sell the stuff later. That way you're not without a pc and you've spare hardware to test the new system with if you get any potential doa parts sent.

Patience matey...intel c2d and c2q price cuts are just around the corner...
