3X Monitors or Large Single Monitor?

Currently have a 60hz 24" AOC, looking at getting a HD7950 as well. Keep in mind where I plan on using my set is only a 44" opening. I also plan on wall mounting.

You know to be honest here, (I have an eyfinity setup in portrait at 1080p (something like 3360x1920) and if I had the choice I would probably go with a 2560x1440 instead.

No bezels, no multimonitor non existent support.

Just a clean simple setup.

I would go large as well. Right now have 3 24" displays avialable, but the bezels and the fun of setting them up for various games really isn't worth it compared to a larger screen. Just have to decide if I am going to go 27, 30, or larger.

Problem with that is that 1440P monitors are gawd awful expensive. frown.gif

$300 is pretty cheap if you ask me.

i vote for the single, bigger monitor every time since having owned a three monitor setup and then getting rid of it. i hated the bezels, the fact that not every game works running the needed resolution, the need for a semi-powerful gpu setup, and most games except for racing and flying games stink on three monitors (imho).

Looking at either a 24" 144hz for $280 or a 27" 120hz for $400.....thinking.gif

Why not 27" 1440p PLS which overclocks to 96-120Hz for $300? Click this.
