Looking for new laptop

Have a budget of 1200-1400 prefer to spend less though.

Looking for at least 15 inch monitor with 1080p would consider 17 also.

Want to have an i7 haswell for sure. Also want an independent graphics card as I intend to use mainly for school with inventor solid works AutoCad and such. With maybe some slight gaming. Such as cod4 when it comes out.

Would like ssd or at least able to install it. Blu ray would be nice. Touch screen is interesting but not sure if I need it.

Honestly my top runner right now is the Asus j550nv although it's graphics card leaves some to be desired. And the HDD in it as well. Thought about the msi gs70 also but makes me think of hauling a 17 inch laptop as well as books around campus.

Suggestions would be great.

EDIT: Lenovo y510p also seems like a fairly solid choice.

I was actually looking at the Lenovo myself. When my school money finally comes in it is probably the one I will be getting. It has all the features I want. Not to mention if you get the one with SLI 750ms it is almost on par and occasionally beats a 770m

However, it only has one slot for storage and depending on the model you get doesn't have an MSATA but has a NGFF slot which is incredibly hard to find a decent sized SSD for. Well, Sandisk makes a 256GB NGFF slot ssd, but the Lenovo Y510P uses a very small sizes slot so it is not compatible.

I did see that in November or so Lenovo is coming out with newer haswell models that look promising. Have better battery life and such.

ill be getting my lenovo y500 some time today and i can let you know how it is. its the i5 with 6gb ram and the sli 650's. got it for $800 off of newegg. for the performance i think its killer deal and also found a forum that has overclocked these baby's to gt 660m speeds.

as stated before its only 1 hard drive but there is a msata port that i have a 256gb that will be going in there so ill have a ssd for boot and the 1tb for storage. the screen in these are suppose to be one of the best and with enough power it has able to play just about any game on med high.
