I have just achieved my first on the asus sabertooth x79 mobo and i7 3820. I had set the voltages to offset and the maximum was 1.377v. I have been reading that once your first oc is stable it is best to lower the oc by .5v each time and stress test to the lowest you can go. It also said that once you are to low your cpu will crash. What does it mean for a cpu to crash? Is that normal will I be able to turn my bios on and get last good settings?
