240 rad advice

Thread Starter
I am getting near the purchase of a 240mm rad for the bottom of my switch810. I am thinking about these 3. Which one would perform the best, be the highest quality and I am open to other suggestions. I will be using Blacknoise NB-eLoop B12-3 1900 RPM fans with it.

1) Alphacool NexXxoS UT60 240mm
2) Alphacool NexXxoS Monsta 240
3) XSPC EX240 Multiport Radiator

Thanks again for your advice! Always appreciated smile.gif

You can fit any of them in push pull without issue, but I would suggest the UT60 as being the best bang for the buck. I have one in the bottom of my Switch, in P-P with significantly stronger fans than the eLoops and with an EX420 (P-P) as the other rad, it keeps a dT of around 4C with a 3930K @ 5Ghz and 670 @ 1.212v 1326core/7124mem.
I would sooner have the UT60 w P-P and shrouds on the push fans + decouplers and gaskets than a Monsta, and if quiet is your goal then keep in mind that the rad works at its best with high speed fans, although it does work fairly well with lower speed fans provided you use P-P. If you want to see the relative size difference between the two, look at both my and kcuestag's rig photos; our systems are very similar although he has the Monsta and I have the UT60 (my pics are from before adding the shrouds, but the shrouds makes the whole assembly about the same height as the Monsta w/o shrouds).
