First, here's my system:

i5 2500k@4.5ghz
Arctic Cooling Freezer 7 Pro
Zotac 670 Amp Edition
8gigs Corsair Vengeance
z68x-ud5-b3 with latest bios
OCZ 90GB Agility 3 SSD
OCZ Zs Series 750w PSU
Windows 7 64

Latest drivers.
Clean windows install

I am using this guide to set up for an overclock.

I ran two benchmarks using heaven, one with tessellation and one without.

I recorded a max core clock of 1202
My boost clock is 1176
That gives me a kepler boost value of only 26

The guide states to increase fan to keep the GPU underneath the 70 degrees throttle point, but even if my profile is increased to maximum I reach temps of 80-85 on average, with a peak of 90 degrees at the end of the bench.

Does this look correct?

The reason I'm considering an overclock is that I get low FPS in a certain game: Warframe. I get highest 80fps, with dips to 30-40 in areas with dense mobs. Users with equal and even lesser hardware report fps that exceed this considerably, equal hardware reports sit around 60-70 as a constant, with no dips.

My GPU usage never seems to go above 20-30% on average. It does spike to 70-80 occasionally, but only very briefly.

Temps during game never reach above 50-55.

Is this low GPU usage causing my low fps?
IS there anything about my system that could be causing this low usage (bottleneck anywhere, for example)?
Will an overclock even help this?

Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
