oh i forgot to say i have a computer with 2 1tbs and 1 2tb i have all my files on serviio shares them and i watch them thru the wdc live streaming tv the wdc has support for network shares also but thats buggy they cant seem to get it fixed. Some of the options in serviio below i just recently started to use the cats and release years was suprised how accurate they are.

there is a 100 different ways to do what you want to do. and they would all suit your purpose. it really depends on how much expand ability you want and what you want to stream to...

they are solutions that are just plug and play but they are usually very limited in the space you have. DVD's are not that big but when you start adding Blu-ray and TV shows to it you can use up a lot of space very quickly..

I think you need to read and research on each idea you were given decide on exactly how large you could want this to be, what and where you will be streaming media to, I know with the one I showed you that there is plug-ins that allow you to real time encode and stream to apple and other tablets and phones. when you start reading and looking at all of this you will see the possibilities are actually endless. none of them hard or complicated.. like I stated before research, read, learn about everything that is available decide what you want and then go from there...

look and read and learn about everything we tell you about...
