Buy sooner or wait until FM2+ APUs?

First post!

So I am looking to upgrade my slowly dying laptop and as college is soon to end for me I would love to replace it with a custom computer.

As of now I am looking into an A85X FM2 motherboard with an A8 or A10 (Trinity or Richland) as my budget does allow for dedicated graphics at this time, plus, I really don't need that much graphic processing power, just enough to play Civ 5 on the lowest settings.

My question is this, with BOTH Cyber Monday and the release of the FM2+ APUs coming up should I purchase my FM2 motherboard/APU now, or wait for either of the two dates?

From the PCPartPicker histograms the average price of a Trinity APU only dropped ~10-15 bucks when Richland was released, I can assume Cyber Monday sales should be around the same magnitude. Unfortunately they do not go far enough back to show the price drop for the FM1 mobos after the FM2 mobos were released. Does anyone who has been in the game longer want to weigh in on this dilemma?

Thank you in advance

With the release of new parts you will always see the old versions drop in price a bit. The APU prices didn't have as big of a difference because APUs were brand new and focused strictly on budget minded builds. The price was already low so a 10-15% drop would come out to be about 10-15 bucks. It will be beneficial, in my opinion, to wait and see what the next gen does. Sales there plenty will be so patience must have you. *Yoda*
