Blackberry was just a fad I think really. My gf use to have one and they were cool but man did it always have issues. I guess everyone moved on and fell in love with apples iPhone so there is no turning back from that. I think BB is going downhill and they know it but cant take no for an answer.

Lets face it. The touch screen killed the Blackberry. The iPhone started dominating the market with its excellent touchscreen and selection of apps & usability(and yes, im talking iPhone 3 era when nothing came close to the touch screen or 'fun' aspect of the iphone).

Then all the "iphone killers' came out from the likes of Samsung, HTC and Sony....... Which just got better and better and better and infact now we all know Samsung sells more phones than apple.

Meanwhile over in the RIM camp, Blackberry was still trying to push out phones with keyboards and really really bad 'touch' screens. Infact one of there phones you could press the whole screen in..... What the hell was that?

Its just a fact, Blackberry missed the touch screen revolution boat and now they will never catch up. Its a sinking ship and porting over BBM to iOS and Android is just a desperate last gasp for air by the looks of it.

P.S. I can't see what they think giving BBM to iOS and Android will do for them either.... When BBM was released everyone went mad for it.... Since then, we have had the likes of Whatsapp and about a million other alternative IM programs.
