i knew it was running at boost clocks, i wasnt the one inquiring about that, i was just stating how i dislike when reviewers compare highly overclocked stuff against other stock clocked gpu/cpu's tongue.gif

Missing some key info with the ??? for the GPU config. Clock speeds and price seem reasonable though.

Wouldn't that be a treat? AMD have seriously been taking it to Nvidia for the last few years. They stepped it up big time. Hoping they can bring something amazing to the table once again. They don't have to have the biggest and fastest thing around to be a winner in my book, but if they do... sweet sweet victory. biggrin.gif

I am interested to see how this beauty clocks. If it's close to 7970 oc performance it'll be a beast of a card watercooled.

It seems too good to be true... if true that it will have 512membus and IF (and I do mean big IF) it does have 2800+ sp, all for less that $600, It is just way WAY to good to be true. I won't get my hopes up because I would just be setting myself up for disappointment. I rather just wait till NDA is lifted and reviews come out. Either way, ill be buying upgrading to a card with best bang/buck

According to previous experience with Tahiti and Pitcairn WCCF tech provided always verified materials 2-4 days ahead, and they were never wrong.

So If the Numbers of compute units, TMUs, ROPs, 512bit bus and 4gb are correct the only factor which can change it all is frequency. And i hardly see any problem to run it on 1000mhz+ as they did with Tahiti XT2. Hawaii chip is still smaller as Titan so cooling will be easier.

And think like an engineer.
a: "Look at this, Nvidia put two GTX 670 together on single chip with size of arizona instead of doing X2 card".
b: "It shouldnt be so hard. Lets do it."

These are reasons why I trust to the numbers they provided.
