What are you talking about? There's nothing wrong with the idea he's proposing. If he's trying to pass them off as fact, then yes, it's ridiculous but he's not. Simply arguing in favor of what he think is perfectly acceptable.

Nobody had ever heard of Chiphell before??? rolleyes.gif

Lazy.......

If the 9970OCed does not perform like a titan OCed , I might pick up a titan despite how much it is overpriced.

I'm not saying that there is absolutely no way on earth the benchmarks were sanctioned by AMD... It just sounds like tin-foil hat to me.

Well the original Korean site looks genuine like few people, how did they get these cards rich bastards, who did only few benchmarks and didn't thought they would get into trouble when they would erase info about what card/s they used.

Surprisingly, when I tried to search by image, Google returned extremely few results, as if someone phoned Google to remove these images from db.

Doing GM104 which is designed for 20nm is a bad choice at best. (you remember the GTX260 vs his shrunken brother?)
Or the powerhog named 280 vs the 285.

Thats why I said GM 104, not GM 100. If GK 104 is anything, it might be feasible on 28nm with decreased clocks and increased TDP. GT 200 on 65nm did had the largest die at the time.

If AMD promised the improved cooler on this card, then it will very likely boost higher than the cooler on this sample card.

I don't really think Maxwell is going to be all that impressive. Now, take note, this is just a gut feeling backed up by no facts whatsoever so don't bite my head off. I just think that the Kepler jump was so massive that however Maxwell turns out it will seem a bit disappointing after Kepler. Its highly doubtful Nvidia can pull another Kepler right after Kepler, if that makes any sense...
