If you think this is unreasonable, you must not follow many threads in the News section.

Are you denying that Dirt Showdown, Hitman, Sleeping Dogs, and Crysis Warhead heavily favor AMD cards?

Yes, 3 of those 4 games happen to be Gaming Evolved titles.

Honestly, you missed the whole point of what I was demonstrating, while many others understood it perfectly fine, including Usario whom I was replying to.
Your behavior. You have no point in keeping this going other than to argue incessantly. I see no reason to continue with you, So good day/night to you sir.

Lol, touché. I usually try to avoid the news articles for the most part. This one, however, could not be avoided.

If you take his AMD biased chart + his non biased chart the average is 31%. It's exactly what I've been arguing for pages and has been posted time and again yet people keep denying it. The 780 constantly wins by around 30%. Sure, some games it wins by around 5% and others around 50% but they don't represent the norm. Going through the whole thread the average really is 30%.

See how this works. I didn't need to throw numbers around and demean any manufacturer or owners to prove a statement of fact. The 780 getting 72FPS and the 7970 getting 64FPS aren't facts outside the testing area. Do you get the exact same results on your system? If you do then please stop posting. If not then again you should see my point. I don't see the point of your argument here in this thread. Unless all you are after is Gratz for your cards performance and your general content nature in their performance. Outside of that it adds little to the discussion of the r9 290x.
You must have missed it.

Here's my theory: everybody should determine their top dog by the average of the games they play rather than all the games and ignore the rest. I mean, if all I play is Dirt 3 and Minecraft, why do I care for a Titan or 780 at all? It's a waste... People wanna argue just to argue if you ask me tongue.gif.

Another thought: the main reason I prefer AMD cards is for eyefinity, and I soon plan to switch to 5 monitors in portrait. So until Nvidia offers this, I give squat what their cards do. I'm likely gonna sell my 7970s onve my mini-Phantom is done and get a 7990 or the r9 290x (if the latter supports 5 monitors), since I can't run 5 way eyefinity with dual reference 7970s, and I won't use custom pcbs because I only use Komodo blocks.

I didn't think my point was really that hard to understand, and I thought I had made it perfectly clear how just 3 or 4 games can skew the results like that.

I like that you took the average of the 2. thumb.gif

You are starting to sound like one of those people that get paid by a company to enter threads and sing the praises of said company that everyone mentions from time to time. Still not sure how either of you feel it is relevant to case at hand R9 290X
