Pretty much sums up what's wrong with OCN at this point. Either you love AMD or your opinion gets jumped on by the same small group of people. Makes having any discussion pretty much worthless when you can't even have any constructive criticism. No company has been or ever will be perfect. Not AMD and especially not Nvidia.

Ikr *sigh*

I haven't jumped on Kepler 'cuz, well this sums it up:

I haven't jumped on a $300 7970 because it doesn't work in Premiere CS6, and I'm not about to jump onto Adobe CC and get locked into a lifetime subscription so I can use the AMD card. I plan on riding out CS6 for at least 2 years before I upgrade again.

I think a lot of people can't relate to my uses, which is understandable. Gaming is truly secondary for me, so my upgrade needs / wants are way different than most. If gaming was my primary use, I'd be rocking a 7970 right now, especially for $300, it's quite a great deal.

I'm really not sure how to make things any clearer that this gen's prices have been bad from both camps at one point or another.

Wasn't going to comment on your drivvle anymore but couldn't pass this up. BOLDED= Yet you feel the need to post game benches like they mean so much to you. If you were posting relevance to CS6 or whatnot then no problem. But that statement ends just how I said you operate before. Start with some inflamitory benchmarks then after causing the big stir, try sounding like you are the only reasonable one in the room. Just stop...

December 2011, 7970 launched 20 to 30% faster than the GTX 580. ~$100 more expensive

A few months later, GTX 680 Launches 10% faster than the 7970 and $50 cheaper, AMD drop prices to below that of the GTX 680.

A few Week's later, AMD launch 7970 GE, it matches the GTX 680 performance for less money, Nvidia do nothing.

Another few months later, AMD launches the 12.11 Driver which push the performance of the 7970 GE 10% past the GTX 680 and still for less money.

Some time later AMD launch their Never settle campaign, now its 10% faster than the GTX 680 and cheaper and you get a bunch of free games. Nvidia do nothing.

Some more time later Nvidia launch the GTX Titan for more than twice the cost of a 7970 GE @ $600 more for 20 to 30% more performance.

Next they release the GTX 780 @ 7% slower than the Titan still for $200 more than the 7970 GE.
Then they re-name an overclocked version of GTX 680 and release a GPU slower than the GTX 670 for the same money.

As i said, the only ones who can be blamed for Nvidia are Nvidia.

You know whats coming next?
P
AMD release a GPU around GTX Titan performance with free games, including BF4 that is also (unlike Nvidia GPU's) DX11.1 and DX11.2 compatible... and for $300 less.

AMD is the only way for Bang for Buck, extras, features..... everything really.

2010 is bias yes, but you are just as bad or worse. AMD has some blame in all this. Quit being ignorant to it.

Actually from my point of view, both AMD and NVidia cards are grossly overpowered. When game developers have this kind of power, they have no need to do optimizations, and proper low quality settings, because all cards have quite a lot of power anyway. As a consequence a decent 60/120 FPS smooth gaming with decent looking medium quality doesn't exist. Well, even high quality looks quite bad sometimes, medium tends to be atrocious.
