Battlefield 3 - GPU Usage is 50% per gpu, fps no higher than a single card
Assasins Creed III - There is no crossfire profile/support for this game??? (has sli support)
Crysis 1 - FPS is capping at 70ish low gpu usage again
Far Cry 3 - Stutter stutter and more stutter
GTA IV - Runs like crap (as usual)
Skyrim - So many bugs in this game from flickering, to not working with certain enb's due to crossfire
NFS Most Wanted 2012 - Does this game even support crossfire? no crossfire profile once again? (it supports sli)
The only games that use crossfire properly are Grid 2 and Metro
Drivers are 13.8
Did i make the wrong choice going crossfire? is it normally like this? or do you think something is wrong with my system
Someone with an almost identical setup here! I'm on a 2560x1440 monitor so for me, it is very important that CFX is working or I won't have proper frame rates in most games. I have almost all the games you mentioned. You're particularly unlucky with your choice in games when it comes to CFX, but you shouldn't have this many issues.
BF3: Should not be an issue. I'm getting the expected GPU usage with CFX. I had some issues first time I started the game because one card didn't go to 3D clocks, but that was a fluke.
Assasins Creed III: This game doesn't play well with CFX or AMD cards in general. I haven't opened my copy of it, but I can fire it up to give you an idea of how it should run although I bet it's not an issue on your end.
Crysis 1: This game only supports 2 CPU threads so it's prone to CPU limitations. Have you tried increasing graphics settings? If the FPS stays roughly the same and the GPU usage increases, it's probably a CPU bottleneck.
Far Cry 3: Stutters on all setups. This game literally does not run perfectly on any setup, even single card NVIDIA systems.
GTA IV: Does not work properly with AMD cards. This isn't even a CFX problem, it's just the game and AMD cards that don't play well together.
Skyrim: I haven't really had issues with flickering and I haven't installed an ENB yet, but I have roughly 150 mods with no issues. Which ENB isn't working for you?
Personally, I'm really enjoying my 7950's compared to my GTX 680. I knew about GTA4 and can run it on medium if I really want to play it so for me that's not a big deal.
