I tried to force AA and tesselation trough CCC but it doesn't help at all.
Even CPU oc'd @ 4.7GHz is still a bottleneck for two HD7950 at 1080p.
If I had BF 3 I would test it on my rig, but I don't. Just to give you an idea of performance I get : (all at 1440p,4xAA, and Vsync. FPS shown by FRAPS and in-game)
Diablo 3 - Shadows off, everything else maxxed - 120-130fps
Civ 5 - Everything maxxed - 110+fps
Sc2 - Everthing on ultra - 120fps
WoW - Everything maxxed - 90-110fps (60fps while recording)
Dirt3 - Everything maxxed - REALLY high lol, havent run fraps while racing yet.
League of Legends - Everything maxxed - 180fps on Summoner's Rift and 100-120fps on Howling Fjord
Gpu usage is ALWAYS 90% or higher on both gpu's. Your GPU's are not being worked at 1080p so something is wrong with your settings. Using logic here, your CPU is clocked much higher than mine and you are running at 1080p yet my performance is beating you. Do you have any other "tweaking" tools installed? There are a lot of programs out there to adjust graphics settings and such, most do not work properly if more than one are installed. If the only game you are having trouble with is BF3, then the blame would lie with the game not your rig or settings. What are the stats for other games? Usage, voltage, memory usage, clocks, fps, etc. Record as much data as you can and post here. I'll pull up what my exact CCC settings are when I get home and post them here for you. Telling you it was a COMPLETE difference once I used these settings over how my rig ran before. At 1080p, I was barely able to hold 50-60fps in LoL on medium graphics, shadows off, AA off. Now I am more than double the fps at a much higher res with everything maxxed out.
