In Device manager, click on your LAN Device, open up properties and uncheck any "wake on lan" settings.

Try this: Open Device Manager, find your mouse and double-click on it.  Then go to the Power Management tab and make sure that "Allow this device to wake the computer." is un-checked.

And for those of us who actually use Wake-on-LAN, make sure that the "Only allow a magic packet to wake the computer" (or "Only allow management stations to wake the computer") checkbox is checked.  Otherwise, any traffic on the NIC may cause a wake event.  This setting would be in the Power Management tab for the network adapter. thumb.gif

Under Wake on LAN, I see the following checked:

-Wake on Magic Packet
-Wake on Pattern Match

What do I uncheck?

This issue just started randomly. I'm not sure why. It was fine before it happened.

Uncheck them both.
