Corsair Force GS or Samsung 840 EVO?

Thread Starter
I'm ordering all my parts for my PC within next week and I've got everything picked out except for the SSD. The SSD will have my OS, a few games, and a couple programs for recording/editing, so I want something that has the all around best mix of performance, speed, and reliability. I have considered the Samsung Pro SSD's, but I can get the GS or EVO much cheaper than the pro models with higher storage options.

I'd suggest the EVO. You get near the Pro's performance for cheaper. They both have the same warranty.

While the EVO has nearly the same performance as the Pro, it only has three years warranty instead of five years.

Yes, but the Corsair drive he is also looking at only has a 3 year warranty.
