Hello, I'm pretty new here and would like to take a second to first say hello to everyone and thank all those in advance who may offer some suggestions..

Today I picked up a new GPU and installed it in my rig like any other, once I booted the system it began installing the drivers...
All is well until I realized that I had no internet. I get the red "X" where it usually shows that your connected. I clicked the troubleshoot to see whats up and it says, "Intel 82579lm gigabit network connection adapter is experiencing driver or hardware related problems"
I've tried to uninstall and reinstall the drivers from my mobo website but no luck..

THIS SUCKS! Anybody ever have this issue? Any suggestions? I'm not really very good with software so sorry if I dont give you much to go off from!
