okay so, i'm running the stock heatsink and fan..and i'm getting around 38 celcius idle for the cpu and the board is around 36..

load is around 52 and 39-40 respectively..

should i get a better heatsink for the cpu?

38 idle is a bit toasty. But 52c load is ok.

You want to keep under 55c load with oc'd AMD cpu

What HSF do you have right now?

Are you currently overclocked?
Your temps aren't horrible, looks like stock.
For cheap, add a fan or 2 to your case to help ventilation.
If oc'g you should get a hsf to keep the cpu cooler.

i have actually overclocked...umm right now..i'm at around 2.6...still trying to make everything rock solid though..

i'm thinking of going copper tubing or whatnot for the heatsink cause i heard those were the best for air..or something..well, i'm no expert

Big Typhoon is always a safe bet, if your goal is 2.6 just get the one you prefer/cheaper! I don't know about the mini though, i wouldn't get that

I must be doing something wrong! I have my BT on my proc and I am getting 47C right now. I think my IHS is concave, so I am going to take it off when I get my mobo in the mail whenever directron ships it out. And mabye if my temps are to much worse get some sand paper and lap that bad boy, I have to agree Theraml take must use Chainsaws.
