The G400 is a great mouse, no reason to get anything else except maybe the G500. Personally, I love a weighted mouse, the heavier the better. I got my G500 and immediately proceeded to put all the heaviest weights in it. Still dont find it heavy enough for gaming so its my work mouse. thumb.gif

Although I would wait until the G602 comes out, looking like it will be a fantastic mouse. biggrin.gif

G400 owns if you're ok with the shape and you don't find it too bulky to move around

Guess I'm in the minority here. I have a G9x and I like it for the most part (the scroll wheel is amazing and you can program up to 5 sensitivities per profile) but it does have its shortcomings. It is a little on the short end for my hand, and I wound up having to get a wrist rest to keep my hand from cramping; only has 5 buttons (7 if you reprogram the sensor buttons). I haven't had the G400, but if it's anything like the G500 (which I tried and returned) it's too tall for my hand. There are enough buttons I think for an FPS, but certainly not for an MMO. No matter what anyone tells you though, you have to try them out for yourself. Your hand will tell you what it likes. Everything else is secondary. Unfortunately, you have to have a friend that has what you're interested in to try or buy them and return what you don't like. I haven't seen a physical store where they actually have gaming mice out on display for trying...and if there is one, I bet they're on really short leashes, which doesn't help you make a decision.
