I have my old 6670 and X1950 graphics cards lying around too.

I was thinking FX 8320 as I don't mind HDD speed and I can throw my old CPU into that motherboard and deal with the throttle.

You could always try downclocking and undervolting it, and just use it as a web browser maybe.

I admit I'm kinda surprised a bulldozer quadcore has enough tdp to thottle anything tongue.gif

I think I'm going to get an SSD as I don't really need anymore CPU power so I'll upgrade that later on and my 4170 is still running my tasks fine.

My old build/processor was the Phenom II 965 BE. My brother just overclocked it to 4.0ghz just the otherday. Good job! IM jelly of your sabertooth mobo. My mobo looks like crap with its brown PCB...i should have known better.
