But seriously, your triplets are not enough for 1600 Eyefinity. Its not that its stutters, it could be you just don't have enough gpu grunt. You'll have extremely low frames running newer games. Hell, I could barely max out Metro 2033 and Crysis 2 ~50-60fps w/ quad 580 3gbs a year ago. I've been mmg for several years now and I typically do upgrade to new gpu because of the new game demands to push hardware. Also, some games perform extremely poor in mmg. Take Metro LL, in Surround, I barely scratch 60% usage but I'm still getting great frames in 1200 Surround. Where as Crysis 3 pegs all gpus at 98-99% but its extremely hard to max out in 1200 Surround w/ full aa. I didn't like the new K-monitors since they have large bezels for portrait so I haven't made the plunge to 1440/1600.

The dvi/dp issue has been known for a while but the main concern is that it creates "tearing" on the monitor w/ the different connection due to the different rates. The resolution was either Amd (or vendor) add three or more of the same connectors (ie Lightning, DC-2, etc.) or a dp solution (the hub). The extra connection solution is great for 1x3 or 3x1 Eyefinity but for 5x1, you need a display port hub. Even after releasing these long awaited hubs, I hesitated the temption of quad Tahitis due to the framepacing issue still pending a fix for Eyefinity. The member's build I posted used 120hz monitors which does alleviate the issue of tearing but the TN panels clearly creates a grayed out left side. Only ips that can push to 90+ are the Koreans. You're talking about more money where I can easily go w/ two more Dells.

I love my dells. The picture is crisp, very clean, the AG is just the right amount, they self pivot, and the quality is awesome. Rather then spending $3k on a three1600 Dells, I would rather go w/ 5x1 Eyefinity to push 6000x1920.

What you are saying is I have little understanding of Eyefinity cause I have no camera at my disposal. Okey...

2) I told you what games I play and what settings are set for them. Read my post maybe? My iphone camera will make such a stuttered video cause it is not a proper camera. While I do have my 14Mp Canon, I am not at this place currently.

Anyways, I stopped reading after a few lines from the highlighted text. I would suggest you do a research what the drivers/Dvi/Dps are responsible for, as of right now it is pointless to carry on.

Hope it helped smile.gif

They present the new generation the 25th and it should be available mid-October (1-2 weeks after paper-launch). We'll see tomorrow anyway... 12:01 if that's the NDA lift date.

Crossfire is fully fixed for CF with single monitor setups (well not DX9 but most of those games run well enough to not need to worry about). Only Eyefinity and CF is still broken but that is probably going to be fixed by release of Hawaii. Not confirmed or anything but it would be my guess...
