EK Supreme HF 1155 to 2011

I have a EK Supreme HF on my 1155 socket mobo. Thinking about moving to a 2011 socket..

I have all the parts in a box.. Just not sure what came with the block.. Did the Supreme fit the 2011 or did I need to order or ask for a 2011 backplate?

I am looking at the accessories on Performance PC and I don't even see a back plate for the 2011 listed..

ATM I use a custom mounting assembly for a higher pressure.. But I still use the 1155 socket back plate..

The HF uses the M4 holes in the socket integrated latch mechanism.

Check the 2011 section of the PDF

LGA2011 has its own built in backplate. You will need to buy the LGA2011 mounting screws for the Supreme HF if yours didn't include them.

I see what your saying.. It's not a back plate that I would need its a set of screws..

Interesting makes sense..

Thanks Bitemarks and bloodstains!

You should have a set of 2011 mounting screws in your box.
I bought mine in April/May 2012 and had 2011 mounts included.
