My New Build!

Thread Starter
I should be getting my new rig in about a week or so. Just curious as to the kind of frame rates I will get with a 27" monitor (which I have not purchased yet...looking for a good deal somewhere)

The games I will be playing are FPS - Call of Duty / Battle Field 3

Intel i7-4820K Processor 4.2 GHz
ASUS Rampage IV X79 Motherboard
CPU/GPU liquid cooling
NVIDIA GeForce GTX 780 3GB GDDR5
8GB Quad Channel DDR3 at 1600MHz
Windows 8 64 bit
256GB SATA 6Gb/s SSD
27” LED 1080p
G930 Wireless Gaming Headset

My internet speed is:

**the reason for the low upload is due to the lan card on my current PC which I have had now for 5yrs) I'm sure the Gigabit Lan on the ROG board should really make a difference?**

Thanks for the insight and help. thumb.gif

Looks like the 780 destroys them both at 1080p, but you did not say what resolution you would be gaming on.

It's not aimed at your specific game but it's a good overlook on their performance, i'm currently extremely satisfied with my 770.

Unless it actually limits your upload i don't think a new Ethernet card will make much difference sadly.
