ATX Bench style case, possible build? Thoughts? (Renders inside)

So I've been noodling about with Sketchup on this one design a few months ago, and as I was reinstalling Windows, I came across it again in my files, and had a second look at it. The whole idea was to have a horizontally oriented case, that would house an ATX board, and a mild liquid cooling loop, while keeping size to a minimum. For the loop, to keep cost in mind, I designed it around working with an XSPC Raystorm kit. I had a wooden design, but it was a bit too bulky. So I tried out a sheet metal version, and it's a lot better in my opinion. I planned on making it by hand, but it's a bit to complex for hand tools in my eyes, so I would probably have it cut with a CNC machine if it ever comes to life. So I came up with some renders, and figured I would ask the OCN community what they thought of it. So here's the pics, remember, any thoughts or suggestions are welcome, especially possible improvements.

So here's what I started with...

And then I thought White and Orange would look awesome...

So the only thing I'm having a problem with now is where to mount a 3.5 in drive... I was thinking of bolting it to the underside of the motherboard tray. Same with the 2.5 in drive. I may also end up making the whole tray removable, pulling out towards the back like normal removable trays are.

So any thoughts, ideas, enhancements, criticism? Thanks guys! biggrin.gif

Stand a hard drive on edge on the motherboard plate. If you need additional support, add a bent tab off the front panel to support the other side of the drive. Could even do two in that space I see.

Nice modeling and rendering. Looks great.
