Need help with MB+CPU+MEM+Vid Card = $400

Hello guys,

I have always build intel PC, and recently my 5 years old PC just went to the dead PC land. I never try AMD before in my life so I will need some help (a lot biggrin.gif) from you guys. For a budget of $400, I need MB+CPU+ prefer 4-8G of mem and a vid card that decent enough for me to play Total War ROME 2 and Dragon age 2/Diablo 3.

Any help and advice is greatly appreciated

Thanks,
Andy

If you live near a Microcenter you can get save another $20 (depending on your sales tax rate) for instance in PA it would $190.78 (includes 6% sales tax). They give $40 off of their bundle. Then you can use that money towards 4 more GB of RAM.

Wouldn't go with an msi mobo unless running the cpu at sock speeds.

Try the Biostar for an alternative
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16813138372
Has a heatsink on VRM/MOSTFETs even though it is a 4+1 phase motherboard and is approved on VRM Motherboard list as good for OCing.
