The newest ones (7200.14) are slightly faster than the Blues and come in greater than 1TB capacities. Just get the better deal or size if you need it.

is not Seagate a bad brand? doesn't it tend to fail as i think i read?

They've gotten better since the floods. The .11 drives especially were notorious for failing, but now they're as good as WD. It's like OCZ's bad Sandforce controllers in the early days of SSDs: they're fine now, but nobody will let the past go.
